Logic Protect system consists of client and server parts. The server part is installed on Microsoft IIS server. It handles the users' database, providing software activation and live licensing data to the client part. The client part is available as a DLL to be distributed with your product.

Online software activation scheme used in Logic Protect is quite simple and easy to use by the customer and developer. By default the protected application works in Demo / Trial mode. When the user activates the software, Logic Protect server generates an encrypted license file that is stored in the program folder. After DLL successfully verifies the license file, program switches to the fully-functional mode. If license file is missing, changed or taken from another computer, the protected application automatically switches back to the Demo / Trial mode.


Concurrent tracking (advanced option) - is another unique feature of Logic Protect. System detects if several copies of your application are in use with the same serial number and gives you the option to automatically block the illegal copies! This way, it is easy to implement any type of licensing: from single copy usage only to multiple licenses per one registration code. The client DLL can pass the server query result to your application. Deciding what to do with an illegal user is up to you!
